Ava Garza

This senior session was a dream! I have known Ava Garza, a senior at Eureka High School, since she was little!! Ava truly embodies creativity and genuineness.

Her senior session was a perfect blend of her passions, from music to painting. We kicked off the day on the theater stage at Eureka High School, where Ava rocked her corduroy overalls and white Doc Martens against a backdrop of green curtains, reflecting a touch of her school’s color. We also captured some fun shots in the audience chairs, highlighting her love for the arts.

Our next stop was on the campus of a local university, where Ava’s playful side shone in a bright yellow dress, contrasting beautifully with the historic college setting. But the true magic happened at her family’s private property. In an open field, Ava’s personality lit up as she painted a canvas with vibrant acrylics. We set up an easel and a blank canvas, and finishing with Ava’s hands and arms covered in paint—creating some of the most joyful and authentic images of the day.

Incorporating her love for art was essential, and these moments perfectly captured who Ava is. Her family was thrilled with the final images, feeling that they truly represented her unique spirit. With future plans to study elementary education at Illinois Central College, and her joy of helping out in the elementary school in her district, Ava’s love for art and children will undoubtedly inspire many!
