Ball Newborn Session

As the last of the snow from the winter gets washed away with todays rain I have to share this little ray of sunshine, Emilia! How fitting for the perfect prop we were able to incorporate into her newborn session, a rainbow newborn wrap. If there's one thing I encourage people in every session it is making your images personal with pieces that are meaningful to you.

Meet Emilia Rose, born in Mid December. She was 15 days new at the time of her in-home newborn session. She was welcomed home by her parents and big brother pup, Rizzo. 

Look at those teeny tiny fingers, I love the little flecks of peely skin as a reminder of being a newborn. 

For the Balls' Newborn Session I traveled to their home in Springfield, Illinois. The beauty of an in-home newborn session is another layer of making the session personal to you. The Balls' have gorgeous floors and they created a great backdrop for these baby wrapped poses. Wrapped newborn posing in buckets and baskets is perfect for in home session since bringing the whole studio setup for posed newborns can be a little cumbersome.

Oh my goodness, those precious lashes...can you even contain yourself with all those little details?!

And an added bonus to any session is when you can crank out multiple setups during the allotted time. Emmi was a perfect baby, she slept the entire time and we were able to move efficiently through 4 setups...what?! That's amazing and typically doesn't happen in a one hour session.

So yep, we went for a bonus family portrait with their pup Rizzo! And this adorableness is now adorning the walls of their home. From start to finish, it's my pleasure to provide a professional canvas print to be a treasured family heirloom for many generations to enjoy!
