Doherty Maternity and Newborn Session

Holly and Liam choose to capture their maternity photos on the campus of Illinois State University, where Liam is employed. They chose colors for their session that would tie directly into their newborn session, very well thought out. We strolled around the quad for some perfectly landscaped areas that pulled in the colors of the season. The Doherty’s were married in the fall and had used pumpkins as a part of their wedding day decor, notice the small pumpkin in their images as a reminder of that special day. We finished up on the overpass with the Bone Student Center in the background.

A little over a month later Baby Nolan arrived!! Nolan is the most perfect little boy, and one of the easiest newborns I have ever photographed. He slept through his entire session and easily soothed and settled into each pose…and of course like all babies loved being all swaddled!
