A Fresh Look for PD Benefits: Pam Deaton's Brand Refresh Session

I’m thrilled to roll out these new images from Pam Deaton’s Brand Refresh Session. Pam owns PD Benefits, formerly known as Health Market. Pam is an insurance broker who specializes in small business benefits and serves the Bloomington-Normal area. With a new look but the same great insurance, Pam's rebranding was focused on fresh, updated brand images that SHINE A LIGHT on her vibrant personality and professional expertise!

Pam Deaton, the heart and soul of PD Benefits, is bubbly, friendly, and embodies the true spirit of a boss babe. She’s funny, quick-witted, and has a deep love for her children, the clients she serves and the local sports community!! In addition, she enjoys volunteering her time and is involved in local organizations like the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary. With this brand refresh, Pam wanted to capture images that highlight her approachable and professional nature while showcasing the exciting changes in her business.

Having worked together before, Pam trusted my vision to plan out locations and photos needed for her personal brand photos. We collaborated to create a small brand guide specifically for this session, detailing a few outfit ideas and photo inspiration, along with a location setting for the day. We photographed her session in Downtown Bloomington, utilizing its bright colors that play well into Pam’s new brand colors. The vibrant backdrop adds an extra layer of energy to the photos, highlighting Pam’s cheerful personality. We also visited a coffee shop where Pam frequently works when she’s not working in the office. This location was ideal for capturing Pam in a natural, everyday setting.

During the session, Pam used several items such as coffee mug, a laptop, branded ink pens as tools of the trade. And we created stock images of her newly branded items of pens, chip clips, car cup coasters, and business cards to use as placeholders in marketing material. Branded props add a personal touch to images and reinforce your brand identity!

How she plans to use her images:

Pam plans to use her new images in a variety of ways, including a billboard along Veterans Parkway, LinkedIn, social media, business cards, and marketing pamphlets.

If you’re starting a new business or rebranding your existing one, now is the perfect time to refresh your brand with new, updated images…I like to call it pretty with a purpose.
