Capturing Jeff’s Senior Story: A Soccer-Themed Session in Peoria, IL

Senior year is a big milestone— it’s the year of lasts, of looking ahead, and of celebrating who they’ve become. That’s why senior portraits should be more than just photos; they should tell the story of who they are right now.

For Jeff’s session, that meant highlighting two key aspects of his personality: his easygoing nature and his love for soccer.

We started in Downtown Peoria, where the mix of architecture, back alleyways, and riverfront scenery created the perfect urban backdrop. His relaxed style and outgoing personality came through effortlessly, making every shot feel natural and authentic.

Then, we focused on what mattered most—his sport! We planned to capture his soccer portraits at his high school, Metamora Township High School, a place where he spent countless hours on the field. As the sun set, we captured golden, backlit images that truly reflected his dedication to the game.

Jeff was up for anything, and that’s what made his session so special!

The best senior portraits happen when seniors feel comfortable, heard, and confident—and that’s exactly what I aim for in every session. Together we’re going to take the time to understand what makes your senior unique so their photos don’t just look great; they feel like them.
