Bingham {Family Session}

Amy reached out to me over the summer for a family session before their 3 oldest children returned to college in the Fall. I feel like whenever we send our children back to school that time goes in fast forward and before we know it another year has passed. I loved that we found a date that worked, and an added bonus was it was a beautiful night with perfect temperature…unlike the late summer sweltering heat we are experiencing as I write this blog.

For their last few sessions they had park like settings, and they wanted to do something with an urban vibe to it. After looking at Downtown Bloomington or Uptown Normal, we went with Uptown Normal for the vibrant colors and lush landscaping. We strolled around to make the most of all the area has to offer and it provided a wide variety of portraits for their gallery. Check out the favorites here:

The Binghams wanted to update the picture in their home’s hallway; this is a great example of why seeing your image on the wall with our design software is important. A common size I see in homes is 8x10 and 11x14. Although popular, they are often too small for your space. This is a 20x24 mounted print with mat and frame making its final size 24x30.

I didn’t photograph this install snapshot close enough, but even at this distance you can see it is much easier to see everyone. Don’t be afraid to throw out those old norms and set new standards!
