When to Book Your Senior Photos
The Best Time to Book Your Senior Photos
If you’re looking for an experience that is unlike any other…one that delivers stunning, magazine worthy, shine a light on you images that reflect your true self. If so, you're in the right place!
I’m all about creating authentic moments, getting candid expressions through natural posing that leave you confident and perfectly encapsulate who you are. After all, you only get one trip around the sun your senior year…so let’s do this right!
The best time to schedule your Senior Photos is the summer between your Junior and Senior Year. You’ll want to get on Senior Waitlist for when senior session dates open up in mid to late February.
Why Bloomington Normal, Illinois is the perfect place for your Senior Photos!
Nestled right here in the heart of Central Illinois are the twin cities of Bloomington and Normal and with that you get just about 2 of everything and more: college universities, state parks, historical sites, miles of trails and parks, Uptown Normal and Downtown Bloomington which leads to endless locations for your senior photo experience.

But when is the best time to book your senior photos? For all you high school students, the answer is simple: the Summer between your Junior and Senior Year.
Here's why:
1. Beat the School Year (and Fall) Rush
I know you're juggling classes, extracurriculars, and making unforgettable memories. Booking your senior photos early means you get your preferred dates, ensuring your session perfectly coordinates with your school schedule. This way, you don't miss out on any of those fantastic moments during your senior year.
2. Embrace the Best of Bloomington Normal
Summer to early Fall in Bloomington Normal offers lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and warm, golden sunlight. This backdrop is my very favorite for capturing seniors. Whether you prefer a scenic outdoor setting or the heart of downtown, the summer season is your canvas!
3. Warmer Temps mean fun Summer Outfits!
Truth bomb here, I do not like being cold and I venture to think you are probably the same. I dream of flowy sundresses, ruffled rompers, sandals, a fun pair of colored sunglasses and a trendy hat to compliment your look. None of this can happen in late October when it’s rainy, windy and cold. And if you’re worried about the heat, don’t fret, I photograph in the shade and close to dusk when it’s cooler…so you’re all good!
